From trying several fragrances in a sample pack, I ordered Gilded as a more special occasion fragrance and Sweet Grass for everyday wear. So far, "special occasion" for me to wear Gilded has been every weekend, even just the quiet at home weekends.

On me, Gilded settles into something both smokey and sweet but still feels fresh and also to my nose has an illusive almost tannic or herbal layer that I catch sometimes.

When I wear Gilded, I imagine a world of cocktails and dim light with secrets being whispered in my ear. I feel bolder and more sensual and full of exciting adventures while still being grounded in me, here today.

I love switching over to a non commercial brand produced in Canada in a classic way.

I love that every person is so specific about the scents they like. Gilded is wonderfully balanced: sweet and warm with a hint of forest :) The perfume oil lasts nicely and isn’t overpowering. Enough for my friends/close ones to know it’s my scent, but not enough for everyone in the room to know!
