I truly love all of these scents so much, and getting to mix and match for this price is wonderful.
To me, these fragrances feel like I’m being transported to my dream of living in a cottage in the woods and writing my next great novel. They all have a natural, earthy and woody tone to them while still being their own unique experience.
Gilded - spices in the cabinet; a warm cup of sweetened black tea; an open cabin window in fall.
Troubled spirits - sweet, honeyed fruits nestled in your picnic basket while reading under the oak tree.
Eros fig - the smell of fig trees around a small lake in late summer. Nostalgia and comforting clean air.
Sex & jasmine - a true, powdery jasmine plant soaking up the sunshine inside your reading corner.
Smoked bloom - zingy citrus squeezed into your cup of cold tea.
I find all of these scents to be perfectly unisex and all beautiful well composed. My only wish was that gilded and troubled spirits had a little more sweetness in the dry down as the woody notes came out more on my skin (but that’s just my preference).
My favorites were troubled spirits and Eros fig!
Thank you libertine for being such a kind-hearted spirit in the perfume world and being so engaged with your consumers! Can’t wait to see what’s next!
I love the different scents and especially that you can try them with a sample set first.
They last and smell amazing
the most expensive samples for the money. the scents don’t match the descriptions.
I am trying all the Libertine fragrance in the discovery sets. They’re amazing! Each has its own unique character, but overall I find the scents sensual and spellbinding! My favorites are Fin De Siecle and Eros Fig.
It's a great problem to have. Between Smoked Bloom, Sweet Grass, Fin de Secle and Eros Fig, I suppose I like the Smoked Bloom the best because of the strong scent of vetiver, but damnit, they were all great. I also really liked Sweet Grass which smells to me just like a dry meadow on a hot day, with a little unburnt tobacco. However that one faded a bit too quickly to a very light scent. (Not necessarily a bad thing either, depending what you're looking for.) All the others lasted all day and night too. The Smoked Bloom and Sweet Grass might be considered more on the masculine side and Fin De Secle and Eros Fig more traditionally feminine, but I will be wearing them all.
